Can Chris Algeri pull of the upset against Pacquioa this Saturday?

Many people are saying Pacquiao cherry picked this fight saying "oh who has Algeri beaten?" "Oh Algeri has no power" "Algeri is going to get killed Saturday".

Well to be honest if Pacquiao slips and doesn't take this fight seriously Algeri can pull of another hug upset and show the passing of the torch. Out with the old and in with the new.

The reason I believe Chris Algeri can beat Pacquiao (key word can) cause he has the tools to beat Pacquiao. Algeri for one is taller then Pacquiao.  Algeri is 5'10" and has long arms and who knows how to use that jab very well.
Algeri knows his style meaning he knows he is a boxer and won't try to be a knockout puncher like Timothy Bradley did with Pacquiao in there 2nd fight.

Also Algeri uses the ring a lot so instead of being in front of Pacquiao he will use the ring with his long jab and quick combinations if Pacquiao gets on the inside. Another advantage for Algeri is that he has cardio for days. This man has shown he can move around the ring nonstop for 12 rounds and throw a lot of combinations with one of the most feared boxers and devasting punchers like he showed in the Ruslan fight. But the greatest tool that Algeri has is his mind and the confidence he has in himself. And what I mean by that is that Algeri doesn't freeze up or choke on the big stage. When he stepped up and fought Emmanuel Taylor, Algeri gave Taylor a boxing lesson and easily outclassed him as compared to Adrien Broner who went through hell in an exciting and close match with Taylor.
In his last fight and his biggest test to date Algeri took on WBO champion Ruslan Provodnikv.  Many people even myself thought Algeri would get destroyed and knocked out and in the 1st round it almost looked like that. Algeiri down twice and already behind on the scorecards but what was worse was how fast his right eye was closing. Now a lot of fighters would have panicked or gave up and stayed down but not Algeiri.  He rose to the occasion and followed his corners instructions to the point and out boxed Ruslan and used his legs to stay away from Ruslan and not stay in the pocket with Ruslan, throw quick combinations and even snap Ruslan's head back with some good strong power jabs.

Now if I was Algeri my game plan would be to use the whole ring keep Pacquiao off balance and throw fast combinations.  Don't worry about trying to hurt or knockout Pacquiao he doesn't possess the power to do that but rather outbox Pacquiao.  It's known that Pacquiao struggles with Boxers so lay on the outside and every time Pacquiao charges in take a step back shot a jab right hand then move out of the way. Keep popping the jab into Pacquiao's face at your distance also catch him with check hooks.

Never stand in front of Pacquiao or stand in one spot for more then 3 seconds cause Pacquiao will be timing Algeri and trying to catch him Will he's in one spot waiting to make the next move. Also if Pacquiao gets on the inside Algeri must not be afraid to hold or use his feet to get out of Pacquiao range cause that's where Pacquiao has the advantage of speed and power on the inside and will be using that to get the knockout that the Pacquiao followers have been wanting for so long.  So don't stay long on the inside and also don't lay on the ropes as soon as your leg touch the ropes slide away cause Pacquiao is one of the best at making you pay for laying on the ropes. If Algeri can stay disciplined to do this I believe he pulls away with a great victory (that's if the judges do there jobs and don't give us no bs scorecards) and win his 2nd title in his 2nd division. Also Chris Algeri would show the world that he is the new face of elite boxers.
