Who can Crawford fight at 140lbs?

Now the big Question is who can Terrance Crawford fight at 140lbs? There are a lot of young talent in the 140lbs and espically after his performance Saturday night Crawford has a lot of people wanting him to fight soon and see him in action with another great performance.

Crawford has had 2 big years with beating Predscott on 2 weeks notice and unknown all the way to outclassing number one contender Ray Beltran. I say this cause if I'm Crawford's people I wouldn't get arrogant and let him fight anyone at 140lbs. What I mean by that is people are already jumping up and saying Crawford needs to fight Pacquiao. I believe that would be a foolish move for Crawford to do cause he's a world class fighter but Pacquiao is an Elite fighter and look what Pacquiao did Chris Algeri in his last fight. Fought a world class fighter who wasn't ready for that big stage and got outclassed. So if I was Crawford people I would get him an easy fight make sure he's adjusted to the weight and see what it's like to get hit by natural 140lb fighter then take on a top 10 fighter.

If I was Crawford people I would see if they could make Mikey Garcia vs Terrance Crawford match up. Both fighters are willing to move up to 140lbs so why not match them up and both can test the other in this new weight class. Also stylistically it's an interesting matching up cause Garcia is a hard punching counter puncher will Crawford is a boxer who is patient and can fight as a right handed fighter as well as a southpaw.

If Crawford wins that fight then I would begin to match him up with the likes of Mauircio Herrera, Chris Algeiri Lamont Peterson. And if Crawford can get past these fighters then I would begin to match him up with Danny Garcia, Lucas Mattesye, Ruslan Provodnikv.

The reason I would do that is because not only do I want Crawford to get adjusted to the weight but also get used to getting hit by bigger fighters cause we're not sure if Crawford can take a punch at 140lbs and you don't want to rush him against a big puncher and they  catch Crawford and we find out he wasn't acculamted to the weight.

You might say weight but Herrera, Algeri, and Peterson aren't big punchers but they have fought there whole career at 140lbs and bigger so physically there the bigger fighter and more adjusted to the weight class. So I would use them to test Crawford and see how he handles them physically. Cause Herrera and Algeri are boxer so it would be a boxing match between them and Crawford but with Peterson he boxes but once he knows he's losing or he hurt you he then becomes a brawler and get on the inside and rough you up. And that's one of the test I wanna see is can Crawford handle that type of physicality. And worse cause senario is if Crawford can't handle that these fighters aren't big punchers so they won'tknock him out or badly hurt him.

But besides that I see big things in Crawford future especially at 140 lbs. Crawford has a style that will fustrate and beat a lot of the top guys at 140 lbs also if they keep developing and building Crawford up he will be a superstar and a huge ticket seller. He also will be one of the boxers carrying this sport once Pacquiao and Mayweather leave this sport.
